Job summary

LSF Framingham LLC is seeking a Host/Take Out Associate to greet guests and seat them, manage the seating chart, and ensure smooth dining flow. You will handle take-out orders, answer queries, and assist with reservations using OpenTable.

Strong communication and cash handling are essential for accuracy. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, comfort with POS systems, and the ability to work under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous work experience as a Host is preferred.
• Working knowledge of OpenTable and Point of Sale is preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to handle cash and paperwork accurately.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to perform under pressure in a high‑volume restaurant setting.
• Must be able to handle guest incidents or complaints.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Seat guests efficiently, manage seating chart, and ensure optimal flow of diners.
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting list.
• Manage reservations using OpenTable.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries courteously.
• Receive, process, and manage takeout and delivery orders.
• Assemble and package orders paying attention to packaging techniques to avoid spills, leaks, or damage during transportation.
• Process payments for takeout orders, including cash, credit, debit, and digital payment methods.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and proper reconciliation of sales at the end of each shift.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
