Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service.
• Ability to understand proper food handling and serving techniques and regulations.
• Ability to process cash handling, credit card and room charge transactions.
• Ability to operate a computer, calculator, phone and other office equipment.
• Attention to details with good organizational and efficient time management skills.
• Consistent professional attitude and effective listening and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to proper procedures for utilizing the TMS to control the flow of guest seating; uses wait/reservation lists.
• Maintain a welcoming, friendly attitude and contribute to a teamwork-based environment.
• Greet guests and assign tables using TMS; notify guests of waits and manage expectations.
• Inform guests of current features and promotions; answer questions and offer menu suggestions.
• Address guest concerns and inform the Manager.
• Support team by delivering food and beverages, pre-bussing and providing refills when possible.
• Set up, maintain and operate the server assistant stand and front lobby area; keep area clean.
• Answer the phone and assist with guest questions in a friendly manner.
• Deliver correct drinks and food to guests when needed.
• Practice safe food handling and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Bag and manage takeout orders; check orders for accuracy.
• Ensure guests receive a friendly farewell and solicit feedback on service quality.
• Observe tables and manage cleanliness; keep track of table status.
• Accommodate guests' needs and requests (refs, silverware, etc.).
• Clean and sweep around tables as needed.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
