Job summary

The Argonaut Hotel, part of Noble House Hotels & Resorts in San Francisco, is seeking a friendly restaurant host/greeter. You will welcome guests, manage reservations, and help ensure a smooth dining experience with a warm, professional presence.

No prior greeting experience required—we can teach you. You should be able to work weekends/holidays, stay positive, multitask, and collaborate with a fast-paced team. Benefits include 401K, paid time off, uniforms, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience greeting guests preferred but not required; training provided.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays; AM/PM shifts.
• Proactive, positive attitude and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide information in a professional manner.
• Receive and record reservations by phone or in person.
• Fairly seat guests and manage room assignments.
• Assist with serving and bussing as needed.
• Maintain a clean podium and organized host stand.
• Package and check-out carry-out orders when necessary.
