Job summary

Founding Farmers in Washington, DC is seeking a Host/Coordinator to provide attentive service from the moment guests arrive. You will manage reservations, greet guests, seat them, and coordinate with front of house staff to maintain smooth flow.

Your role includes answering calls, assisting with parking validation, and helping with dining setup and resetting tables. A hospitality mindset and strong communication are essential in our fast-paced, team-oriented restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and hospitality mindset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant reservations and wait lists using OpenTable and communicate with front of house staff.
• Answer the restaurant phone and provide friendly service for guest inquiries.
• Greet and seat guests, assist guests with reservations, and respond to requests promptly.
• Assist with parking validation, directions, and recommendations for guests.
• Support service staff by clearing dishes and assisting with table setup for large parties and brunch.
