Job summary

Farmers Restaurant Group is seeking a Host/Coordinator to provide attentive service from guest entry through seating. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth experience.

Responsibilities include using OpenTable, answering calls, and assisting with large parties while maintaining cleanliness and hospitality throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Full-service restaurant experience is helpful but not required.
• Must be 18 years old due to service of alcohol.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant reservations and wait lists to set guest expectations.
• Monitor the reservation system using OpenTable.
• Answer phone calls and provide friendly service for guests.
• Greet and seat guests, delivering exceptional hospitality.
• Assist guests with reservations and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Assist with parking validation and provide directions when needed.
• Support service staff by clearing dishes and tidying areas.
• Set up dining areas for large parties and brunch events.
