Job summary

Hai Hospitality,the multi-concept group behind Uchi, Uchiko, Uchiba, and LORO, is seeking Hosts in Miami to support service by managing reservations and walk-ins, setting guest expectations, and delivering warm, attentive experiences. Hosts will provide cocktail service for waiting guests and help create memorable dining moments for all guests.

Earn an average of $22 per hour (base pay plus tips) with benefits including medical/dental/vision, mental health support, a 401k with employer match,

Qualifications

• Excellent guest communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dining room and coordinate with team.
• Aware of safety guidelines and best practices for service areas.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Acquaint guests with menu and Japanese cuisine.
• Provide cocktail service while guests wait for their table.
• Manage reservations and walk-ins; communicate guest notes to managers and servers.
• Maintain awareness of dining room pace and coordinate with team during table turns.
• Ensure a welcoming and professional guest experience at all times.
