Red Hawk Resort + Casino in Placerville, CA is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to welcome guests, manage seating, and assist with reservations in a fast-paced dining environment. You will greet arriving guests, escort to tables, and maintain a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities include verifying reservations, answering phones, processing payments where applicable, and coordinating with kitchen and service staff to meet guest needs while upholding grooming and appearance standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of fast food/quick service cashier experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Handles initial cordial reception to guests upon arrival and escorts to dining tables.
• Advises guests of waiting times during reservations.
• Assists with seating and reservation system operations.
• In buffet environments, takes beverage orders and informs guests of offerings.
• In a la carte environments, seats guests and presents menus.
• Answers telephones and takes reservations.
• Verifies reservations and compliments as applicable.
• Receives payment from casino guests when applicable and adheres to cash controls.
• Answers guest questions and refers to management when needed.
• Maintains podium by stocking supplies and cleaning as needed.
• Assists with special requests and pricing inquiries.
• Maintains menu knowledge and venue standards.
• Records preferential information in the reservation system for future service.
