Job summary

Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino is seeking a friendly Part-Time Greeter for our dining spaces. You will welcome guests, manage seating, and support the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

The role requires a warm, professional demeanor, clear communication, and the ability to multitask while standing for extended periods. Evenings, weekends, and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or host/greeter experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using the seating system.
• Communicate accurate wait times and accommodate guest preferences when possible.
• Escort guests to tables and present menus.
• Answer guest inquiries about the menu, restaurant, and property offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
• Collaborate with servers, bussers, and managers to ensure seamless service.
