Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Dallas is seeking a courteous Host/Hostess to greet guests, manage reservations, and coordinate seating for optimal service flow.

Responsibilities include escorting guests, answering phones, and maintaining a welcoming host stand. The role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting, and basic knowledge of reservation systems and POS platforms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in restaurant or hospitality preferred.
• Customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of reservation systems and POS platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and create a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating charts to maximize service flow.
• Escort guests to tables and communicate server sections effectively.
• Answer phones, take messages, and provide basic restaurant information.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
• Assist with menus, to-go orders, and guest requests as needed.
• Monitor dining room activity and communicate with servers and management.
• Follow company policies, safety standards, and service procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
