Job summary

JINYA Ramen Bar is seeking a friendly Host in Alpharetta, GA to welcome guests, manage seating, and support the front-of-house team. You will greet guests, assist with reservations, and guide guests through a smooth dining experience from arrival to seating.

Responsibilities include answering calls, managing waitlists, maintaining the host stand, and coordinating with servers and management to ensure a memorable visit while upholding JINYA’s hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Positive, professional attitude under pressure.
• Experience with reservation systems such as OpenTable is a plus.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
• Capable of working in a diverse team and flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, manage seating, reservations, and wait lists.
• Maintain a cheerful and professional demeanor with guests.
• Provide menus and assist with questions or special accommodations.
• Participate in brand greetings and promote hospitality values.
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and manage guest flow.
• Assign tables, maintain a clean host stand, and assist servers.
• Support dining room upkeep, refills, and table resets.
• Communicate clearly with front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
