Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of server experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and ability to perform under pressure.
• Experience operating a POS system and reservation platforms such as OpenTable.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, professional, and positive service to all guests.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver promptly.
• Execute steps of service and up-selling techniques.
• Guide guests through menu offerings, daily specials, and dietary considerations.
• Deliver an exceptional dining experience from greeting through farewell.
• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with seating or wait-list timing when necessary.
• Participate in signature greetings such as “Irasshai” and “Arigato.”
• Create emotional connections with guests while promoting ramen offerings.
• Respond to guest concerns and elevate major issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and guest-visible spaces.
• Support front-of-house operations including beverage refills, table maintenance, resetting tables, polishing plates and glassware.
• Communicate clearly with front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, manage seating rotation, and assist with host responsibilities.
• Maintain knowledge of hours, menu, allergens, payment options, and table numbers.
