Job summary

Original Pancake House in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a friendly Host/Carry Out team member to welcome guests, manage reservations, seat guests, take carry-out orders, and assist with menu selections. You will work with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely, accurate service and maintain a clean host stand and carry-out station.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests: Welcome guests as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
• Manage Reservations: Organize reservations and handle walk-ins efficiently.
• Seating Arrangements: Guide guests to tables considering preferences and wait times.
• Carry Out Orders: Take carry-out orders by phone and in person accurately.
• Customer Service: Answer questions, address concerns, assist with menu selections.
• Collaboration: Work with kitchen and waitstaff to fulfill orders promptly.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain clean host stand and waiting area; reset tables.
• Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash and card transactions for carry-out.
