Original Pancake House in Plano, TX is seeking a charismatic Host/Carry Out team member. You will be the first point of contact, welcome guests, take carry-out orders, and help manage reservations to ensure a smooth flow of service.

You will work with kitchen and waitstaff to provide exceptional guest experiences, maintain a clean host stand and pickup area, handle purchases with accuracy, and support seating arrangements during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative team player with flexibility for busy periods.
• Friendly and professional demeanor; prior hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and thank them on departure to create a positive first impression.
• Manage dining reservations and accommodate walk-ins efficiently.
• Guide guests to tables considering preferences and wait times.
• Take carry-out orders over the phone and in person with accuracy.
• Provide menu guidance and address guest questions or concerns.
• Coordinate with kitchen and waitstaff to fulfill orders promptly.
• Maintain a clean host stand and waiting area; reset tables as needed.
• Handle cash and credit transactions for carry-out orders when required.
