As a host, you will provide courteous service, manage reservations using OpenTable and Resy, and ensure guests are seated promptly. Prior front-of-house experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in front of house in a high-volume restaurant.
• Excellent customer service and cash handling skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with a team.
• Flexible schedule and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, prompt service to guests.
• Answer incoming phone calls in a timely manner.
• Seat guests at clean, available tables and present menus.
• Adhere to seating guidelines for equitable distribution among servers.
• Greet guests with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Assist with taking orders when needed.
• Monitor dining areas for seating, safety and guest well-being.
• Assist servers as needed.
• Manage reservations using OpenTable, Resy and other platforms.
• Follow Emmy's Steps of Service and maintain knowledge of menu and beverages.
• Communicate guest dietary requests to culinary staff.
• Perform opening and closing duties and keep work area clean.
• Promote safety for staff and guests at all times.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
