Qualifications

• Prior host or front-of-house experience in a high-volume restaurant operation.
• Strong customer service, cash handling, and problem-solving skills required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, prompt service to guests.
• Answer incoming phone calls in a timely manner.
• Seat guests at clean tables and present menus.
• Adhere to seating guidelines for fair distribution among servers.
• Greet guests with a friendly smile and superior service.
• Assist with taking orders and monitoring dining areas.
• Manage reservations using platforms like OpenTable and Resy.
• Follow Emmy's Steps of Service and maintain knowledge of menu/beverage offerings.
• Communicate guest dietary requests to culinary staff.
• Perform opening and closing duties and keep the area clean and safe.
