Job summary

Specialty Restaurants Corporation in Pensacola Beach, FL is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to warmly welcome guests, escort them to their tables, and manage the dining experience from arrival to departure. You will maintain seating charts, answer phones, take reservations, and collaborate with servers and managers to ensure a smooth flow.

Ideal candidates have excellent communication, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for customer service.
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a busy environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Prior experience as a host/hostess or in a customer-facing role is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude.
Manage the seating chart and efficiently seat guests while balancing guest preferences and server sections.
Provide accurate wait times and ensure guests are comfortable during their wait.
Answer phone calls, take reservations, and manage the guest list.
Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and entryway.
Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and managers to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Assist with other tasks as needed, including helping with special events.
Buss and reset tables as needed.
