Job summary

Fontainebleau Las Vegas is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to greet guests, manage seating and ensure a smooth dining experience from arrival to seating.

You will coordinate with servers, handle reservations and waiting lists, accommodate special needs, and maintain a welcoming entrance. A high school diploma and strong customer service skills are required; prior hosting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Previous host or guest-facing experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Flexible schedule including nights, holidays, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly.
• Manage seating chart and reservations.
• Maintain waiting list and provide accurate wait times.
• Accommodate special seating needs.
• Present menus and explain specials.
• Assist with reservations, calls, and bookings.
• Answer guest questions about menu or services.
• Maintain a tidy entrance and assist coat check.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen to ensure flow.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
