Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a server in an upscale setting preferred.
• Knowledge of wine and beverage service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and grooming consistent with resort image.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests professionally, escort to tables, and create a positive first impression.
• Provide attentive, personalized service and respond promptly to requests.
• Demonstrate menu knowledge, ingredients, preparation, and daily specials.
• Recommend beverages, appetizers, mains, and desserts.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery and pacing.
• Communicate dietary restrictions to the kitchen team.
• Present beverages to guests and verify legal drinking age when serving alcohol.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas; clear dishes and glassware.
• Set tables with proper silverware, glassware, and linens.
• Check guest satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
• Resolve issues, escalate when necessary, and handle payments securely.
• Work with kitchen staff, bartenders, and servers to ensure seamless service.
• Assist colleagues during peak times and support the team as needed.
