Job summary

Union 50 in Indianapolis is seeking a Host to be the first point of contact for guests and ensure a welcoming dining experience. The role involves greeting guests, managing the waitlist, and seating guests efficiently while coordinating with servers and kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Guest Greeting and Seating: welcome guests, manage waitlist and reservations, escort to tables.
• Reservation Management: take and confirm reservations, maintain reservation book, relay special requests.
• Guest Assistance: provide menu information, assist with coat check, address inquiries with professionalism.
• Communication and Coordination: coordinate with servers/kitchen, relay important guest info, manage guest flow.
• Cleanliness and Organization: keep host stand and waiting area tidy, ensure materials are in good condition.
