Job summary

Cunningham Restaurant Group's Front of House Host position at BRU Burger Cincinnati is seeking a customer-focused individual to warmly greet guests, manage the host stand, and coordinate seating with servers.

You will handle reservations, answer guest questions, assist with coat check if applicable, and help maintain a clean waiting area. Training is provided; weekend/evening shifts required; prior host experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly and outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with reservation systems or software is a plus.
• Previous host/hostess experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Guest Greeting and Seating: welcome guests and manage waitlist.
• Reservation Management: take and confirm reservations.
• Guest Assistance: provide menu info and promotions.
• Communication and Coordination: relay info to servers and kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness of host stand and waiting area.
• Assist with guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism.
