Job summary

BRU Burger Cincinnati is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, manage seating, and guide patrons to tables with menus in hand. You will coordinate with servers to ensure smooth dining and keep the host area clean and organized.

The role involves managing the waitlist and reservations, answering questions about the menu, daily specials, and promotions, and assisting guests with coats or other needs when applicable. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly and outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with reservation systems or software is a plus.
• Previous host/hostess experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and seat them according to seating charts.
• Manage waitlists and reservations with accurate wait-time estimates.
• Present menus and assist guests with questions.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen to ensure smooth flow.
• Keep host stand and waiting area clean and stocked.
