Job summary

Cape Resorts Group in Cape May, NJ is seeking a friendly Front Desk / Coffee Shop Clerk to join our team. You will greet guests at the hotel and in the coffee shop, verify reservations, process payments, and help with stocking and cleaning tasks.

You will answer phones, provide information about hotel services and local attractions, and communicate with staff in a professional, courteous manner in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer programs, including POS/PMS Maestro, MS Word and Excel.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work alone, under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in coffee shop pleasantly and greet hotel guests on arrival.
• Register guests into the computer, verify reservations, address, and credit card information using PMS/POS.
• Take payments and provide correct change.
• Stock coffee shop area and assist with cleaning front desk and coffee area.
• Answer phone calls professionally and convey information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Provide information about hotel services, room rates, entertainment schedules and restaurants.
