Job summary

Lodgco is seeking a Host/Hostess for Canopy by Hilton Grand Rapids Downtown. The role welcomes guests, guides seating, handles phone inquiries, coordinates room service orders, and supports smooth dining operations in a fast-paced hotel restaurant.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, at least 6 months’ related experience, and strong English communication. This is a full-time, on-site position with varied hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
• 6 months+ of experience working in a related position.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs.
• Seat guests and manage the seating chart.
• Receive incoming calls and provide information needed in polite and professional manner.
• Take room service calls and orders and accurately communicate them to the kitchen.
• Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
• Perform opening and closing duties, as needed.
