Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is seeking a Host to deliver an excellent hospitality experience by maintaining the overall flow of the restaurant and providing a positive first and last impression to every guest.

Quoting an accurate wait time and answering guest questions are essential to smooth operations, especially during peak times. The Host will greet, seat, and assist guests while supporting front-of-house teamwork. No prior experience is required—we will train you.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; we provide training.
• Excellent customer service and etiquette.
• Ability to follow sanitation practices and safety procedures.
• Clear communication with co-workers and guests.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Interact courteously with Guests (answer phones, greet Guests, seat Guests, make reservations, take food orders).
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards at front door, host desk, lobby, and crowd control.
• Learn restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food.
• Set and clear a table neatly and efficiently according to PF Chang's specifications.
• Learn curbside process and takeout expectations.
• Conduct side-work as required for each shift.
