Job summary

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, manage waitlists, seat parties, and provide menus and menu guidance in a fast-paced dining environment. You’ll assist with drink orders and help maintain a smooth flow at the front of house.

The ideal candidate communicates well, stays energetic, and delivers world-class hospitality. Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but not required, and flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience is not required but preferred.
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication.
• Strong hospitality mindset and guest service focus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Provide accurate wait times and manage waitlists.
• Seat guests and provide menus, assist with initial drink orders.
• Answer guests' questions about the menu and KPOT brand.
• Share menu details, pricing, hours, promotions, and policies.
• Assist with light side work and opening/closing tasks.
• Monitor table turnover and note occupancy and cleanliness.
• Keep front-of-house and host station clean and organized.
• Thank guests and invite them to return.
