Job summary

Hyatt Place Indianapolis Airport seeks a friendly Hotel Host to deliver welcoming, high-quality guest service across the Front Desk, Café, and common areas. You’ll help guests check in and out, assist with meeting rooms, and maintain a clean, comfortable environment that feels like a home away from home.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attentiveness, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required, preferably in a hotel or related field.
• Must have schedule flexibility for both AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Requires strong command of the English language to include speaking, reading and writing.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced position with guest interaction.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs).
• Must possess basic computer skills, i.e. Word, Excel, etc.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Hotel Host Stand, Bakery Café, Guest Kitchen, e-room and TV den, assisting guests throughout their stay.
• Assist with guest check-in and check-out, ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience.
• Help service meeting rooms and maintain cleanliness of common areas.
• Provide information and respond to guest inquiries with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Collaborate with team to deliver Hyatt Place standards of service.
