Job summary

Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU is seeking a Host to deliver exceptional guest service by seating guests, managing reservations, and maintaining high standards of hospitality. You will greet guests warmly, explain dining concepts, and coordinate with the front and back of house to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires strong communication, a professional appearance, and the ability to work flexible hours including busy periods, nights, weekends and holidays in a fine dining environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of hospitality and guest service in a restaurant setting.
• Strong customer service orientation with ability to engage guests.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Professional appearance and punctual, with good written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Seat guests with a friendly demeanor and explain restaurant concepts.
• Manage reservations and table assignments, greet guests, and assist as needed.
• Maintain service standards and ensure health, safety and sanitation compliance.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings and support FOH/BOH operations as required.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns to ensure a memorable experience.
