Job summary

Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Food Runner to support servers, greet guests warmly, and ensure timely delivery of meals and beverages. Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, members, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
• Must have strong communications skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to multitask
• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10lbs without assistance.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have Food Handlers and ServSafe Alcohol Certification.

Responsibilities

• Bring food from the kitchen to tables to support the servers.
• Assist servers during meal period.
• Must have knowledge of all menu items.
• Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Assist the server with pre-busing plates.
• Assisting servers in any capacity to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Inquire if additional service is needed from guests upon delivery and inform the server or manager
• Perform any additional duties assigned by supervisor or management.
