Job summary

Mason Street Grill in downtown Milwaukee is seeking a friendly Part-Time Host to welcome guests, manage reservations, and seat guests, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience.

You will greet guests, escort to tables, present menus, handle reservations, answer phones, and keep the host stand clean while supporting servers during busy periods. Wage is $17.61/hour with meal benefits and discounts.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with reservation systems such as OpenTable.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, check reservations or log walk-ins.
• Escort guests to tables, present menus and wine lists, and introduce servers.
• Manage seating flow and record reservations and special requests.
• Answer phones promptly and maintain the host stand and entry area.
• Assist with coat check and guest parking, support servers as needed.
