Job summary

Paysbig in Milwaukee is seeking a friendly Host to manage seating and guest flow in a fast-paced environment. You will input reservations, assist with to-go orders, greet guests, and help maintain a clean and organized dining area while providing excellent service.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience, with the ability to obtain Responsible Alcohol and ServSafe certifications within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain Responsible Alcohol certification within 90 days.
• Ability to interact with guests and team members professionally.
• Ability to work irregular hours including late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Seat guests and manage seating chart; monitor dining flow in a high-volume setting.
• Input accurate reservations into a digital reservation system.
• Assist guests with online ordering and kiosks for to-go orders.
• Greet guests with a friendly acknowledgement and cordial welcome.
• Answer the phone with a cheerful introduction and clear communication.
• Ensure to-go food transport is complete, clean and ready for guests.
• Take and/or refill non-alcoholic beverage orders.
• Respond to guest inquiries in a timely and friendly manner.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked and safe working environment.
• Maintain knowledge of venue, menu, promotions, events, and policies.
• Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables as needed.
• Work at other venues as assigned based on business needs.
• Perform duties in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing duties as needed.
