Job summary

Coury Hospitality in Cleveland is seeking a friendly Host to warmly greet guests, manage the waiting list, and coordinate seating with servers. You will answer phones, assist with reservations using OpenTable, and help ensure a smooth dining room flow.

The role requires excellent English, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred, and training will be provided to uphold our guest-service

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old (21 to serve alcohol).
• Previous experience in a server role preferred.
• Must successfully complete restaurant training course.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred or currently enrolled in education.
• AT least 1 year of restaurant or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and direct them to seating.
• Manage the waitlist and seating chart with accuracy.
• Take reservations using OpenTable and answer phone calls.
• Coordinate with servers and managers to balance seating flow.
• Maintain cleanliness of host stand and communicate guest preferences.
• Handle cash register operations and process table checks when required.
