Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking an experienced Hostperson in Las Vegas to warmly welcome guests and support dining operations. You will manage reservations, coordinate with the kitchen and service staff, and maintain an inviting dining environment consistent with top-tier resort standards.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years as a dining host, OpenTable proficiency, and a cooperative, guest-focused attitude suitable for a dynamic resort.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age or older.
• 2+ years of prior dining-host experience.
• Experience in a resort setting preferred.
• Experience using OpenTable reservations system.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and professionally as they enter the restaurant.
• Communicate special orders and reservations to management and kitchen.
• Maintain knowledge of daily activities, groups, and seating arrangements.
• Answer phones and manage the reservation book accurately.
• Ensure menus are current and well-presented.
• Relate guest needs to kitchen and management for smooth service.
• Monitor cleanliness and organization of work areas; manage shift end tasks.
