Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience is required.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
• Polished appearance and grooming standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally with eye contact, a smile, and prompt attention.
• Manage reservations, waitlist, and seating chart for a smooth guest experience.
• Use OpenTable to manage reservations and the daily book.
• Escort guests to tables, provide menus, and introduce them to their server.
• Learn the menu, ingredients, and daily offerings.
• Maintain a clean, guest-ready Host Stand throughout the shift.
• Answer the restaurant telephone, take reservations, and relay messages.
• Communicate guest preferences to servers and managers.
• Support Servers and Curators during busy times and reset tables as needed.
