The Reef Restaurant in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Host/Hostess to warmly welcome guests, manage the seating chart, and coordinate with servers to ensure an exceptional dining experience. You will respond to inquiries, handle reservations, and support front-of-house operations to maintain a smooth flow of service.

Ideal candidates are friendly, organized, and able to multitask in a busy setting. Weekend and holiday shifts are required, and prior hosting or customer-facing experience is helpful

Responsabilités

• Greet guests with a warm, welcoming attitude.
• Manage seating charts and seat guests efficiently by preference and server section.
• Provide accurate wait times and ensure guest comfort during waits.
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and manage guest lists.
• Maintain a clean front-of-house area including host stand and entryway.
• Communicate with servers, bussers, and managers to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally and positively.
• Assist with other tasks as needed, including events.
