Job summary

Casino Del Sol seeks a Host/Cashier to perform host and cashier duties in support of a restaurant or retail store. The role includes greeting guests, seating them, and handling POS transactions with accurate cash handling and reporting.

In this fast-paced environment, you will work in a smoke-permitted area, require Food Handler’s and Alcohol Awareness cards within three months, and must be flexible to weekends and holidays. Prior hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must possess or obtain valid Food Handler’s and Alcohol Awareness cards within three months of employment.
• Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as needed.
• Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to obtain, maintain, and retain a valid gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and determines the number in their party.
• Seats guests by finding a clean, available table and presenting menus.
• Performs host duties, seating arrangements, and assists with guest flow.
• Processes credit card and cash transactions and balances assigned bank.
• Ensures accuracy of sales data and cash handling.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work areas; follows safety policies.
