Job summary

Casino Del Sol is seeking a Food Server in the Food and Beverage department to deliver courteous service in line with GED standards and casino policies.

The role requires presenting food and beverages, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and maintaining a clean, friendly dining environment while upholding safety and alcohol service guidelines. Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced setting and handle cash and POS operations.

Qualifications

• One (1) year experience as a Food Server in casual eateries.
• Six (6) months money-handling experience or pass a job-related test.
• Valid Food Handler's card OR ServSafe certification AND an Alcohol Awareness card within three months of employment.
• Able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, special events, and overtime as needed.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
• Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to obtain and retain a valid gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and address them by name when possible.
• Take orders for food and beverages and relay to kitchen staff.
• Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and alcohol options.
• Deliver food with proper plating and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and follow clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Uphold safety and security policies and report incidents promptly.
• Provide excellent guest service and resolve issues professionally.
