Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort is seeking a Host Cashier II to greet guests, seat patrons, and handle cash transactions in a fast-paced dining environment. You will assist servers, manage the wait list, take To-Go orders, and help maintain clean, safe dining areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Food Handler’s Certificate required.
• RASS or TIPS Alcohol awareness within 90 days of employment.
• California Responsible Beverage Service Training required on hire.
• Must be 21+ years old and have 1–2 years restaurant host/cashier experience.
• Cash handling and POS experience required; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a professional, courteous manner.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and relay messages.
• Estimate wait times and manage guest waiting list.
• Operate cash register, give change, balance at shift end.
• Take To-Go orders and ensure accurate delivery to guests.
• Verify food tickets and assist servers with drink orders.
• Assist bussing and resetting tables; support FOH operations.
• Maintain sanitation and safe work environment; comply with policies.
