Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of restaurant terminology and food service techniques and sanitation standards.
• Exceptional guest service skills.

• Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Reservation Book: accept reservations and enter accurately into the record.
• Maintain guest history files and use information to enhance repeat guests experience.
• Maintain guest records: record arrival, cover count, seat assignment, turnover, availability.
• Greet guests in a polite professional manner and determine needs.
• Guide guests to appropriate table and assist with seating and menu presentation.
• Ensure removal of unnecessary place settings and notify servers of special needs.
• Inspect dining room appearance and monitor activity to maintain standards.
• Assist servers and staff to ensure performance to standard.
• Post meal side work and duties, maintain equipment cleanliness and safety.
