Job summary

Azul Hospitality in Hawaii seeks a guest-facing restaurant associate to warmly greet guests at the entrance and escort them to seating. You will present menus and coordinate with the wait staff to ensure a high-quality guest experience.

You will also assist with refilling beverages, setting tables, and keeping areas clean. Flexibility to perform other duties as needed in a team environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have excellent customer relations skills.
• Must be detail oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Must possess basic computational ability.
• Ability to deal with internal and external customers with patience, tact and diplomacy and resolve conflicts.
• Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS is beneficial.
• Self-driven and able to work independently.
• Strong issue resolution and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the restaurant entrance with a friendly welcome.
• Escort guests to tables and present menus.
• Communicate with wait staff to ensure guests’ experience meets standards.
• Refill beverages, set tables, and keep dining areas clean.
• Assist during downtime with rolling silverware and other tasks.
