Job summary

Pacific Hospitality Group, Ko’a Kea Hotel & Resort, seeks a Host/Hostess to welcome guests and provide a warm, memorable dining experience at our Hawaii property. You will seat guests, hand menus, and coordinate with servers to ensure smooth service in a bustling lobby and dining area.

You will use OpenTable for reservations, communicate guest needs to F&B teams, and maintain a neat, inviting host stand. Prior Host/Hostess experience is preferred; strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Greet guests warmly and seat them.
• Respond to guest needs promptly and courteously.
• Maintain host stand and lobby area.
• Communicate allergies or special events to Food & Beverage teams.
• Answer calls and manage reservations using OpenTable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain warm, hospitable guest relations in all guest contact.
• Respond to individual guest needs as they occur.
• Greet guests upon arrival and seat them with menus and information about the restaurant and server.
• Prepare and maintain a list of waiting guests and communicate wait times.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with each course and thank guests on departure.
