Job summary

Anchor Bar Niagara Falls is seeking a friendly hostess to greet guests, guide them to tables or waiting areas, and help ensure a warm, efficient dining experience.

You will use OpenTable to manage seating and reservations, answer phones, take to-go orders, and collaborate with teammates to maintain cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Prior customer service experience is preferred, and availability nights, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 1-year customer service experience.
• Energetic and able to work under pressure.
• Availability nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter and exit the restaurant.
• Use OpenTable to control rotation, seating, reservations and wait list.
• Answer phones with standard greeting and knowledge of menu items.
• Handle all transactions and cash handling protocols.
• Take to-go and DoorDash orders and provide menus.
• Seat guests and engage to ensure satisfaction.
• Respond to complaints and help resolve them.
• Maintain cleanliness of workspace.
