Job summary

The Carolina Inn, part of Hyatt, is seeking friendly Greeters to warmly welcome guests, guide them to dining areas, and present menus for a premier restaurant experience. You will also answer calls and help manage guest flow with accurate wait times.

Responsibilities include attending to guest needs throughout the meal and upholding sanitation and safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Weekend/holiday flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Clear communication of guests' needs to staff.
• Ability to hear clearly in a loud dining area.
• Stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Able to reach, bend and wipe as needed.
• Passion for delivering extraordinary service.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet incoming and departing guests warmly; escort to dining area and present menus.
• Answer restaurant calls and provide attentive service.
• Manage guest flow and provide accurate wait times when needed.
• Attend to special guest needs and requests.
• Monitor guest needs during the dining experience to ensure high-quality service.
• Follow sanitation, safety and alcohol-control policies.
