Job summary

Quaintance-Weaver Inc. seeks a friendly Host/Greeter to welcome guests at our Cary, NC location. You will help guests check in, seat them promptly, and ensure a positive first impression in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Ideal candidates are energetic, detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal and communications skills and a genuine passion for hospitality. You’ll coordinate with front-of-house staff, manage wait lists, and support overall guest satisfaction during busy shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly, attentive service to every guest.
• Ensure smooth transition from the front door to tables.
• Clear and reset tables; keep front desk informed and updated.
• Handle to-go orders from start to finish with accuracy and timeliness.
• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with guests.
• Advocate for responsible alcohol beverage service.
• Know the menu, Chef features, extensive wine offerings and other specialty drinks.
• Maintain high level of cleanliness and safety at all times.
