Job summary

Tandem Hospitality Group is seeking a Front Desk Agent in Austin to deliver exceptional guest services during check-in and check-out, manage PBX operations, and assist guests with concierge information. You will handle rate checks, maintain accurate cash handling, and coordinate with departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 6 months to 1 year of related experience, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedure manuals.
• Ability to operate the Property Management System and PBX system.
• Stand, walk, and communicate regularly.
• Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level of customer service consistently.
• Conduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms including VIPs and special requests.
• Check in and out guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Answer phone calls promptly with complete and accurate information.
• Follow desk checklists and balance daily shift bank.
