Job summary

The Annapolis Waterfront Hotel is seeking a Guest Service Agent to greet, register and assist guests with warmth and professionalism in line with brand standards. You will handle reservations, process payments, help with luggage, respond to requests, resolve complaints, and contribute to meeting guest satisfaction goals while maintaining safety and service excellence.

Responsibilities include balancing accounts, using the PMS system, and providing support in breakfast service when needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required.
• Knowledge of PMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with their needs.
• Register and assign guests to hotel rooms.
• Establish methods of payment and verify credit.
• Make and confirm reservations.
• Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.
• Transmit and receive messages using the PMS system.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Receive and resolve guest complaints, elevating to supervisor when needed.
• Secure guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe-deposit boxes when needed.
• Balance accounts and conduct audits.
• Aim to improve guest satisfaction scores.
• Follow safety standards and wear PPE as required.
• Assist in breakfast area or help guests with luggage during peak periods.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction and perform other duties as requested.
