URBN Playground is seeking a Front Desk Associate in Port Washington, NY, a part-time role on site. You will welcome guests, check them in for amenities and classes, assist with the URBN Playground app, and process payments.

You’ll balance cash at the end of shifts and help coordinate with staff to keep operations running smoothly. The position emphasizes friendly, proactive service, strong organization, and the ability to handle multiple tasks during weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and hospitality.
• Set up and pack down equipment at open/close times.
• Check members in for amenities and classes/lessons.
• Assist with app reservations and purchases.
• Manage reservations, bookings, and app messaging.
• Maintain cash register security and count money at shift start.
• Balance cash and complete cash drop form.
• Process guest passes and promo codes.
• Answer phones and emails, escalating queries as needed.
• Supervise staff on shift to ensure smooth operations.
• Open/lock gates and doors as needed.
• Know event schedules and answer questions about them.
• Liaise with trainers and pool operator for operations.
