Job summary

Avalon PS HM, LLC in Palm Springs seeks a Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of the hotel, greeting guests, handling check-ins/outs, and managing reservations with warmth and professionalism.

This role collaborates with housekeeping and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience, requires strong communication, multitasking, flexible availability including evenings and weekends, and a valid RBS certificate in California.

Qualifications

• Previous front desk, concierge, or guest service experience preferred.
• Proficiency with property management systems strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism; manage check-ins and check-outs.
• Assist with reservations, room assignments, and cashiering procedures.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints with courtesy and urgency.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Maintain guest accounts, charges, and payments; provide information on hotel services.
