Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior guest/customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently with good judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read/listen and communicate effectively in English.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• Ability to input information into a moderately complex computer system.
• Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergencies.
• Willingness to work varied schedules including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out with warmth and efficiency.
• Master reservations, inquiries and complaints in hotel systems.
• Remain composed under pressure and resolve guest issues professionally.
• Build guest relationships using local knowledge and personalized service.
• Communicate clearly in-person and by phone.
• Accurately process financial transactions and cash handling.
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform general administrative duties to support hotel operations.
