Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hospitality/front desk experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming front-desk atmosphere.
• Skillfully assign rooms based on location, rate, and group status to ensure optimal experience.
• Issue room keys and provide escort instructions to Bellhop for smooth arrivals.
• Answer questions about hotel services, local amenities, and directions with clear recommendations.
• Maintain knowledge of in-house groups and local events to inform guests.
• Understand discounts and vouchers and apply them correctly for eligible guests.
• Manage future and same-day reservations and assist walk-ins with professionalism.
• Conduct efficient, knowledgeable check-ins and check-outs.
• Assist guests with safe deposit boxes and protect valuables with confidentiality.
• Post, correct, or adjust charges on guest accounts accurately.
• Be familiar with hotel credit, cash-in-advance, and check-cashing procedures.
• Maintain Front Desk reports thoroughly and on time.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy and integrity.
