Job summary

Royal Farms is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Odenton, MD to support store leadership by handling food service, POS, and daily upkeep. You will engage customers with friendliness and efficiency to deliver an exceptional in-store experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with product selection, processing transactions, fueling, and maintaining safety and cleanliness. Ideal candidates are 16+ and comfortable multitasking in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must have strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to learn and follow all Royal Farms safety processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with friendliness and product knowledge.
• Operate registers, process payments, and manage transactions.
• Follow ID verification laws for alcohol or tobacco sales.
• Assist with tobacco, lottery, or items kept behind the counter as needed.
• Provide food and beverage service and ensure portioning and presentation.
• Restock, check expiration codes, and maintain orderly shelves.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintain safe, clean work areas.
• Uphold safety, security, and operational SOPs and company standards.
• Adhere to schedules and work various shifts, including weekends.
